I graduated from Tomball High School, where I explored a variety of subjects, including a computer science course. Although I was not initially focused on software development, I graduated Magna Cum Laude, reflecting my strong work ethic and ability to excel in diverse areas.

I was honored to be accepted into the University of Houston on a full-ride academic scholarship to pursue a major in Computer Science. This recognition not only reflected my academic dedication but also provided me with the opportunity to dive deeper into the field without financial barriers. At the University of Houston, I began my journey towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I was eager to learn and grow in the field, and I took on various courses to expand my knowledge and skills. Throughout my time in college, I worked on numerous projects, collaborated with peers, and participated in coding competitions. These experiences helped me develop a strong foundation in software development and prepared me for future opportunities in the industry.

I served as the Tutoring Lead for the CougarCS club at the University of Houston, where I organized and led study sessions for fellow students. During my internship as a Software Engineer Intern at Micro Focus, I had the opportunity to develop my technical skills in SQL, JavaScript, and DevOps. Joining Epic Systems allowed me to apply my computer science background to impactful projects, further enhancing my technical skills while contributing to Epic's mission of improving healthcare technology on a global scale.

My work was centered around creating tools that allowed bankers to close deals more efficiently, adapting to the challenges of a remote work environment. This experience honed my ability to build impactful solutions under pressure while contributing to a globally recognized financial institution.

I worked on Advantage, their main portal that manages Overdraft Privilege for clients. One of my key contributions was developing a mapping tool to analyze the number of prospective clients within specific branch locations. This tool helped improve strategic decision-making and provided valuable insights for optimizing services across the network of financial institutions.
In my free time, I am dipping my toes into data science and deep learning. I currently am playing around with running LLMs locally on my own machines and investigate how to integrate it into current applications.
